This cervical cancer screening program detects HPV infection at the DNA level. It is a highly accurate method that helps identify HPV infection — the primary cause of cervical cancer — in its early stages.
The HPV DNA (15 Genotypes) includes the following:
- Detection of HPV DNA for 14 genotypes: 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 53, 56, 58, 59, 66 and 68)
Preparation Before the Test
- No need to fast (food or water is allowed).
- Women should avoid testing during menstruation and 7 days before and after.
