This program is suitable for individuals who want to assess their risk of developing blood clots, which may occur due to COVID-19 infection or COVID-19 vaccination, especially in those with a history of vascular diseases, blood clotting disorders, or symptoms indicating risk, such as difficulty breathing, chest pain, or unexplained swelling in the arms or legs. This screening helps evaluate the circulatory system and reduces the risk of serious complications, such as stroke or pulmonary embolism, enabling timely prevention or treatment planning.
The Blood Clot Risk Screening Program includes the following tests:
- D-dimer Test (to assess blood clot formation in blood vessels)
- Myoglobin Test (to evaluate muscle damage or heart muscle injury)
- hs-CRP Test (to assess the risk of coronary artery disease or inflammation in the body)
- CPK Test (to measure heart muscle enzyme levels)
Preparation Before the Service:
- Fast for 8-12 hours before the test (drinking plain water is allowed).
- Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours.
- Get adequate rest, sleeping 6-8 hours.
- You may take your regular medications (inform the staff before the service).
- If you have any underlying medical conditions or other health history, please inform the staff for proper diagnosis.
- Wear clothing that allows easy access for blood collection.
