CA 15-3 (Cancer Antigen 15-3) is a glycoprotein secreted by abnormal cells and can be detected in breast cancer.
Normal Range
0 – 34.5 U/ml
Elevated CA 15-3 Levels May Be Found in:
- Gastrointestinal cancers
- Liver cancer
- Pancreatic cancer
- Lung cancer
- Ovarian cancer
Other Conditions That May Show Elevated CA 15-3 Levels:
- Benign breast lumps or breast cysts
- Liver cirrhosis or pancreatitis
