Preparation Before the Health Checkup

  1. Fast for 8–12 hours before the test. Plain water may be consumed as usual.
  2. Blood collection is recommended in the morning, between 07:00–10:00 a.m., because some test values, such as Cortisol and Testosterone, vary throughout the day.
  3. During the fasting period, avoid tea, coffee, energy drinks, and smoking until the blood collection is completed.
  4. Avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for at least 24 hours before the test, as these may affect blood glucose, hormone levels, and certain inflammation markers.
  5. Get adequate sleep the night before the test and rest in a seated position for approximately 15–30 minutes before blood collection.
  6. Do not stop taking any medications on your own. Please inform the staff about any regular medications, hormones, steroids, vitamins, and dietary supplements you are currently taking before the test.
  7. If you are taking any products containing Biotin (Vitamin B7), please inform the staff before the test, as biotin may interfere with certain test results, especially hormone and thyroid function tests.
  8. If you have a fever, infection, inflammation, or acute illness, please inform the staff before the test, as these conditions may affect hs-CRP, blood glucose, and certain hormone levels.
  9. For women, please inform the staff about your menstrual cycle, pregnancy, menopausal status, or hormone use, as this information may be relevant for interpreting the test results.
