Preparation Before the Health Checkup
- Please schedule an appointment in advance to confirm your blood collection time, determine whether fasting is required, and receive instructions regarding the stool collection kits.
- Maintain your normal diet before testing. Do not start reducing or eliminating gluten-containing foods, such as wheat-based bread or pasta, as this may affect the accuracy of celiac disease screening. If you are already following a gluten-free diet or have a history of wheat allergy, please inform your healthcare provider or the laboratory in advance. Do not reintroduce gluten into your diet without professional guidance.
- Inform the laboratory of any medications, vitamins, or supplements you are taking, especially antibiotics, probiotics, laxatives, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), aspirin, proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), and biotin, to receive appropriate guidance. Do not stop or adjust any medications without consulting your healthcare provider.
- Get adequate rest and remain seated for approximately 15–30 minutes before blood collection.
- Collect your stool samples using the collection kits provided by the laboratory, as required for each test. Avoid contamination with urine, toilet water, or cleaning agents.
- Clearly label each sample with your name and the date and time of collection. Strictly follow the instructions regarding sample quantity, storage conditions, and delivery time.
- Inform the laboratory of any underlying medical conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, fever or acute diarrhea, as well as any recent colonoscopy or bowel cleansing procedures, so that the laboratory staff can assess whether the scheduled testing date is appropriate.
- Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access for blood collection.
Note: Test items and prices are subject to change without prior notice in accordance with the company’s terms and conditions.
