Preparation Before the Test
1. No fasting required: You may consume food and drinks as usual.
2. Avoid alcohol: Refrain from alcoholic beverages for at least 24 hours before the test.
3. Avoid strenuous exercise: Stop heavy physical activity for at least 24 hours prior to the test to prevent temporary spikes in inflammatory markers.
4. Avoid pain relief and anti-inflammatory medications: Refrain from taking NSAIDs (e.g., Ibuprofen), steroids, or joint pain medications for at least 2–3 days before the test. (Please consult your physician before discontinuing any prescribed medication).
5. Be in good health: You should not have a fever, active infection, or be recovering from illness. If you have recently received a vaccine, please wait at least 1–2 weeks before screening.
6. Get adequate rest: Ensure 6–8 hours of sleep before the screening.
7. Dress appropriately: Wear comfortable clothing with sleeves that can be easily rolled up for blood drawing.
