Preparation Before the Health Checkup
- Please schedule an appointment in advance to confirm your blood collection time, fasting requirements, and receive instructions regarding the stool collection kit.
- Avoid all food and beverages, except plain water, for the fasting period specified by the laboratory.
- Get adequate rest and avoid strenuous exercise before the test.
- Inform the laboratory of any medications, vitamins, or supplements you are taking, especially biotin, iron, vitamin B12, folate, antibiotics, probiotics, laxatives, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), aspirin, and proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), to receive appropriate guidance. Do not stop or adjust any medications without consulting your healthcare provider.
- If you have received vitamin B12 injections, please inform the laboratory of the date of your most recent injection before your appointment.
- Do not start reducing or eliminating gluten-containing foods, such as wheat-based bread or pasta, before testing, as this may affect the accuracy of celiac disease screening. If you are already following a gluten-free diet or have a history of wheat allergy, please inform your healthcare provider or the laboratory in advance. Do not make dietary changes without professional guidance.
- Collect your stool samples using the collection kits provided by the laboratory, as required for each test. Avoid contamination with urine or toilet water. Clearly label each sample with your name and the date and time of collection. Carefully follow the instructions regarding sample quantity, storage conditions, and delivery time.
- Inform the laboratory of any underlying medical conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, as well as any recent colonoscopy or bowel cleansing procedures.
- Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access for blood collection.
Note: Test items and prices are subject to change without prior notice in accordance with the company’s terms and conditions.
